Welcome to Crops by Rolf Eneström

Go to the neighbour to see what they want and grow those crops for them. The different crops have their own planting-area which are marked with their respective signs. Pick up the crops in time so they dont rot, but don't worry you can still use the rotten crops in the compost bin to make fertilizer.

You can buy upgrades with the money you earn by selling your crops by pressing E on your keyboard to open ub the shop menu. 

Walk Speed - Enhances the movement speed of the player.

Water Level - Increases the amount of water the player can carry.

Marketing - Plus one neighbour you can sell crops to. Up to 4 neighbours.

The game is infinite, there is no specific goal more than to have fun while playing!

I like the game idea, but from my POV it would be more fun with dense alpha-masked vegetation (LOD) and state-of-the-art textures, instead of the (relatively pale) stylized low-poly geometry. You could consider this a pre-visualization and try to get 3d artists funded. I know it takes time or money to get that kind of geometry. However, it's reusable in other projects.

 I understand what you mean and it was actually and idea of mine in the beginning to make the crops look different and sort of "evolve" as they grow. But my experiences in game making are very limited and the project is actually a school project that we have iterated over a couple of weeks. So we had to publish a "playable" game slice every week which made it so that I had to focus to get the esence of growing crops in a fast and simple way. Hence why my crops just grow in size over time :P

But it's an interesting idea that I think would be fun to look more into! 

Har implementerat en mekanik till "Fertilizern" till nästa vecka som gör att man kan uppgradera hur lång tid grödorna tar på sig att växa. Har även fixat till Ui problemet med shopen.
